OPUS Records Management Systems

OPUS 4 Records Management Software Solutions

OPUS is an enterprise-wide comprehensive Records Management and File Tracking System designed for use on stand-alone workstations, local area networks, and wide area networks. OPUS combines the following records tracking requirements into one solution:

Active Records File Rooms - Storing and archiving of active and inactive paper documents for your organization. This requires the ability to handle a high volume of user requests with very efficient productivity tools for fulfillment.

Archive Center Records Management - Warehouse storage and records retrieval for inactive records.  These requirements include shelf level tracking, space management and the ability to interface with various portable barcode scanning devices.

OPUS is Stress Tested by Mercury Interactive.
A stress test conducted by Mercury Interactive and their Load Runner monitoring software was performed on OPUS.  This test was performed at the Chicago facilities of Accenture and with the corporation of SUN Microsystems and Oracle International.

Testing required 400 million Item records with 2,000+ sessions performing six different batch transaction oriented processes, such as Batch Updates, Scanning, Batch Reporting and Portable Scanning Upload processing.  Thoroughbred received recommendations that were incorporated into OPUS and to their database design, but exceeded requirements for this test.

Records Retention Management - Manage the life cycle of all records based on an approved corporate retention schedule.  This includes the ability to tie a retention schedule to each 'record', calculate destruction dates and reference governmental and industry citations relating to the retention schedule.

Electronic Image Tracking - As more and more records are becoming electronically imaged, the system must track and view images without the requirement of additional software.
