Thoroughbred Technologies, Inc. is an information management technology company based in Sugar Land, Texas, specializing in advanced software systems and related services that support the records and information management industry. Our flagship products and services center on our OPUS Enterprise Records and Document Management Systems.

OPUS was introduced in 1994. The design, development and implementation of this leading edge Records and Information Management System solution has been our exclusive focus ever since. Today, more than 350 companies in four countries have installed OPUS to manage their physical and electronic records information under one seamless database environment.

Thoroughbred Technologies began as a developer of customized software solutions for the records management industry. As OPUS evolved into a configurable full featured system we discovered that our products typically met 100% of client records management needs with virtually no customization required. With our robust administration module, OPUS is totally configurable to a company's specific business requirements. OPUS supports multiple database environments, including, Microsoft's Access and SQL Server, as well as, Oracle and DB2.

Growth

Since the inception of OPUS in 1994, Thoroughbred has been a front runner in the timely delivery of products to service the records and information management industry. In 1998, Thoroughbred Technologies introduced OPUS 32, the first 32 bit information management system on the market. In 1999 we introduced OPUSNet, our Internet web-based enterprise desktop light client. In 2002 OPUS Version 3 was ready for delivery. Also in 2002 OPUS Lite, our file room and archive management system was deployed. In 2004 our premier product OPUS Version 4 was introduced to the market. In 2005 OPUS Post Close Audit, a comprehensive solution for the mortgage industry was introduced to provide Mortgage Loan Review, Custodian Exception Handling, Document Tracking / Recording, and Pool Certification.
