OPUS Net
OPUSNet is a web based compliment to OPUS for those Enterprise users that need to search and request files/boxes, submit Items for archives, perform reporting, and view archive images.
Searching & Requesting Files/Boxes OPUSNet provides multiple types of searches that include:
- Search on multiple fields based on forms.
- Point & Click Query Developer. This allows the user to construct complex SQL queries.
- Batch Query - enter in or import from existing Excel or text files to be searched.
- Goggle Search - enter a 'Goggle' type keyword search.
Once Items have been found through your search, they can be selected and saved to your 'Shopping Cart' for further actions, such as requesting, re-files, destruction requests, and many other tasks.
Submitting Boxes & File for Archival Remote users can perform data entry and print archive labels for boxes and files via OPUSNet. Administrators can customize archive data entry screens and determine the level of security to permit the Remote User. Once Items have been completed by the Remote User via OPUSNet, Items will be routed to a pending Queue which Managers can then review and approve to be moved into the OPUS production database. Managers can also send Items back to the originator's personal Queue if they do not meet corporate standards.
Reporting OPUSNet can be configured to provide the Remote User with rights to perform Ad Hoc reporting or have access to some of the more complex Crystal Reports that are included with OPUS Version 4.
Viewing Images OPUSNet includes the OPUSNet Image viewer. Physical Items can have images attached or OPUS can track purely electronic Items, such as Images. Images can be captured via the OPUS Imaging capture tool or via interfaces to most all major capture software.
