How can I easily find asset Items with RFID tags that are lost somewhere in our office?

Asset Items can become lost, even if they are only a few doors down. Trying to locate these Items can become very time consuming, frustrating and non- productive.

Within OPUS, users only need to select the missing Items and OPUS will send a file to the portable RFID reader with the missing tag numbers and a description of the Item. Users can select the Find option on the portable unit's menu and begin scanning open areas for the missing Items. As Items are found the user will be notified with a description of the missing Item.

Portable readers can also be used to perform inventories or move Items to new locations. These functions are available on the portable reader's menu. After completing the task, simply attach the reader to its docking station and process the data with OPUS. The OPUS database will reflect all changes made and provide a complete history of any movement.
