What is OPUS Express?

OPUS Express is a pre-configured version of OPUS Lite. Users select one of several configuration and modify the configuration if required. Included configurations are:

  • Accounting Firm
  • Legal Firm
  • Court Case Files
  • Social Agency
  • Human Resources
  • Medical Clinic
  • Client Files
  • Archive Record Center

The Express version is designed for those that need to get up and running with the least amount of effort and need ease of use. Some advanced functions are turned off in order to minimize confusion with inexperienced users.

All basic functions for file tracking or box tracking is included. This includes Check In/Out, location moves, scan to shelf and scan to parent container. Complete history of all movement is recorded in the OPUS Circulation History and any changes to the Item's metadata will be recorded to the Content History. Both history tables are available for viewing or reporting on.

Reporting

OPUS Express includes basic reports for inventory and circulation activity. There is also a user definable Ad-Hoc Reporting available.

Data Imports

Data imports can easily be performed and an import wizard is included to assist users with mapping their data to the OPUS metadata forms.
